We met Rachel + Douglas at the end of March to talk about her vision for the wedding. The couple if from Virginia but Douglas’s family has 2 beach houses in Wrightsville Beach so they wanted to explore their options for a wedding. I had a great feeling about Rachel when she sent me an email that had an excel spreadsheet telling me about every aspect of the wedding and how she envisioned it. This girl was ready to start planning. After seeing the view from Douglas’s parents house we knew that this was the location. We were going to transform this backyard into four separate spaces to include a ceremony location, cocktail hour, dinner and a lounge area. This couple was a client but they continue to be our friends.
